Highlanders – Mountain Adventures is a school in the Georgian mountains offering ski, snowboard, and climbing experiences. The project included a dual seasonal brand identity and a responsive Webflow website with CMS, enriched by bold micro interactions.
Overview
Highlanders needed a brand and website that could embody the dual nature of its offering: winter sports and summer climbing. The identity was developed in two versions: one for the winter season, using colder tones like blue and grey to reflect skiing and snowboarding; and one for the summer season, with warmer orange hues inspired by climbing and hiking in the mountains.
After establishing the brand, the UX/UI was designed in Figma and transformed into a Webflow prototype. The website was built with CMS for scalability and enriched with memorable micro interactions, creating an immersive user experience aligned with the brand’s radical, adventurous style. Visitors can explore the Highlanders story, get to know instructors, and book classes or expeditions directly online.
The combination of a strong brand identity and a bold, interactive website allowed Highlanders to present itself as both professional and adventurous, resonating with a target audience eager for outdoor experiences.
Challenge
The challenge was to design a cohesive brand that worked across two distinct seasonal identities while keeping consistency and recognition. Additionally, the website needed to capture the bold, adventurous personality of the brand without sacrificing usability or clarity for potential customers booking activities.
Solution / Approach
The branding process began by exploring elements tied to snow, mountains, and the spirit of adventure. This resulted in two visual identities: winter (blue/grey palette, snow-inspired) and summer (orange tones, hiking-inspired). A full set of applications was created, including the logo, social media assets, and brand visuals.
On the digital side, the UX/UI was designed in Figma, balancing usability with strong visual energy. A Webflow prototype was created to test interactions, and the final site was built with a CMS for structured content management. The interface incorporated eye-catching animations and micro interactions, reflecting the dynamic personality of Highlanders. This combination provided not just a booking platform, but an immersive experience that communicated the essence of the brand.
