Multilingual tourism website built in Webflow, designed to showcase Alentejo’s culture through vibrant UI, seamless UX, and SEO-optimized content with FareHarbor booking integration.
Overview
Alentejo Break! is a tourism brand on a mission to turn every visitor into a true fan of the region through fun, authentic, and unforgettable experiences. The project involved designing the website in Figma and developing it in Webflow, with full multilingual support for Portuguese, Spanish, and English and integrated with FareHarbor allowing users to reserve any activity directly from the website.
A key part of the strategy was creating 12 keyword-optimized blog posts to boost SEO and organic reach, while telling stories that capture the spirit of Alentejo’s landscapes, traditions, and hospitality. The design combines warm, region-inspired visuals with a modern, responsive layout that adapts seamlessly to any device. Every interaction—from hover effects on activity cards to smooth page transitions—was designed to invite users to explore more.
The result is a fast, scalable, and content-rich platform that connects international travelers with the heart of Alentejo, while giving the brand a strong, engaging online presence.
Challenge
The main challenge was to design a multilingual platform that clearly communicated the wide range of services offered by Alentejo Break. The goal was to make it easy for visitors to explore all available experiences, compare options, and quickly identify the ones best suited to their needs. In addition, the platform needed to accommodate fully customizable services, allowing travellers to tailor their experiences. Achieving this required a clean, intuitive structure that could present detailed service information without overwhelming users, all while supporting three languages and maintaining a smooth, engaging user experience.
Solution / Approach
The project began with a clear, user-friendly site architecture mapped in Figma, focusing on making the full range of Alentejo Break’s services easy to browse and compare. Each service was allocated its own dedicated space with concise descriptions, rich visuals, and clear calls to action, enabling users to quickly understand the value of each experience.
To support fully customizable services, flexible content blocks were created within Webflow’s CMS, allowing tailored packages to be presented without disrupting the visual flow. The multilingual setup was implemented through a centralized CMS structure, ensuring consistency across Portuguese, Spanish, and English while keeping updates straightforward. The FairHarbor integration with Webflow created a booking system that allowed users to easily book their favourite activitis based on availability.
Visual design elements—warm color palettes, region-inspired imagery, and subtle animations—were applied to reflect the spirit of Alentejo while maintaining modern, responsive layouts. The entire build was optimized for performance, accessibility, and SEO, ensuring the site not only looked visually appealing but also ranked well and loaded quickly across all devices.
