Overview
As IOUU scaled, its internal platform for managing client information and investments had become outdated, both visually and functionally. Employees needed a solution that was not only aligned with the company’s fintech brand, but also easy to use, efficient, and scalable for daily operations.
The new design aimed to improve workflows around dashboards, client profiles, and peer-to-peer investments. Beyond refreshing the look and feel, the goal was to simplify the way employees interacted with large volumes of financial data, reducing friction and supporting IOUU’s mission of making finance more transparent and accessible.
Challenge
The main challenge was to modernize an old and outdated app without disrupting the workflows employees were already accustomed to. The new design needed to handle complex datasets in a way that was intuitive and visually clean, while ensuring consistency with IOUU’s brand identity.
Solution / Approach
The process started with UX prototyping in Axure RP, where user flows were mapped and tested to validate the navigation structure. Once approved, the UI was designed in Photoshop, combining a clean architecture with IOUU’s brand guidelines to create a modern and scalable interface.
The dashboard provided employees with an at-a-glance overview of client investments through charts and metrics. The Investments screen introduced a filterable table for quick access to essential client data. Client profiles were organized into tabbed sections, making information both structured and editable. Uploading documents was simplified into a straightforward process, supporting efficiency in daily operations.
All final guidelines, assets, and specifications were exported to Zeplin, ensuring a precise and smooth handoff to the development team.

The redesign successfully transformed IOUU’s outdated internal platform into a modern and intuitive application. Employees gained a faster, more efficient way to manage client data, while the updated look reinforced IOUU’s identity as a forward-thinking fintech. By combining clear UX workflows with a clean and scalable UI, the project elevated both usability and brand perception.
